You do not need prior programming experience to start learning VibeCoding. Begin by trying a runnable project on Silong, then choose one small effect and use natural-language instructions to recreate it with AI. Basic programming knowledge will help you spot errors, understand data flow, and maintain the project; anything involving accounts, user data, payments, or production deployment still requires testing and engineering review.

Yes. Published VibeCoding projects on Silong run directly in your browser, with no source download, dependency installation, or local setup required. You can interact with the live project, reload it, use fullscreen, and copy a short link to share it. Mobile, browser, and hardware compatibility may vary by project.

Start with one small, clear goal you can verify immediately. Choose a Silong project that interests you and whose behavior you can evaluate, try it end to end, then recreate just one interaction. Describe what appears on screen, what the user does, and how the system should respond, then ask AI for the smallest runnable version first. Add one feature at a time and test it against the reference immediately. Asking AI to copy an entire site in one pass makes failures much harder to locate.

Which AI coding tool is best for VibeCoding?

There is no single best tool for everyone; choose based on what you are building. For a quick website or prototype, start with a tool that can generate, preview, and publish in the browser. For an existing codebase, Git, tests, or precise review of changes, tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Codex are better suited because they can work directly with your repository. Silong shows a project's tech stack when reliable information is available, but it is a reference rather than a requirement for recreation. Compare ease of use, code export, cost, and deployment, then test your choice on one small example.

Can I download the source code for VibeCoding projects on Silong?

Accepted Answer

Not always. Silong's first requirement is that a published project can be run and experienced; this does not mean every project is open source. When source is available, the viewer's Sources menu shows the repository and any license or notice supplied by the author, so you can visit the original repository to view or download it. If there is no Source code entry, Silong does not currently have repository information for that project. Even when a repository is public, check its license before copying, modifying, distributing, or using the code commercially; no explicit license should not be treated as permission to reuse it.

Can a VibeCoding app be launched directly to production?

Do not launch one without additional review. VibeCoding can be used for real products, but “it runs” only proves the demo works; it does not make the app production-ready. Projects shown on Silong may be experiments, prototypes, or recreations. Before launch, review authentication and permissions, sensitive data and secrets, dependencies and licenses, critical-path tests, performance and compatibility, and prepare monitoring, backups, and rollback. Anything involving payments, user data, or commercial use also needs human engineering review and verified commercial rights for code and assets such as images, fonts, and music.

Is it safe to open VibeCoding projects on Silong?

Silong reduces risk through isolation, but no unfamiliar content can be guaranteed absolutely safe. Static projects hosted by Silong run in a restricted iframe: by default they cannot read Silong's login state, submit forms, open pop-ups, or navigate the top-level page, and network requests are limited by a content security policy. Third-party external demos, especially after being opened in a new window, no longer have the same Silong isolation. Never enter passwords, verification codes, payment details, or other sensitive information into a project. Stop and close the page if it triggers a download, permission request, or unexpected redirect.

Can I submit my own VibeCoding project to Silong?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can request consideration, but self-service uploads and instant publishing are not available yet. Sign in, click the support button in the lower-right corner, and send the project name, a short description, a working demo URL, author details, and a source repository and license if available. Silong Lab reviews whether the project runs, its permissions and external requests, source attribution, and listing information before deciding whether to publish it. Community projects are clearly labeled with their author and source.
